A little more about us...
The Interior Design Student Association (IDSA) is BCC’s interior design program run by students for students. Our mission is to give interior design students opportunities to interact with the professional design community and expand their educational experience beyond the classroom curriculum. Monthly meetings, featuring guest speakers from the design community, are open to all students. IDSA provides:
There is no cost to be involved in IDSA and all students are welcome to attend our monthly board meetings. In addition to the information you find here on our website, you can also keep informed by visiting the IDSA bulletin board in the L Building just outside Room L116. Weekly IDSA announcements are posted there along with upcoming events.
Students may also become members of professional interior design organizations and participate in community interior design service projects. Many interior design organizations have special rates for students. You are encouraged to become a member of one or all of these organizations. This is where you will meet professionals that you may end up working with one day. Applications are on the bulletin board.
There are many events for which we depend on your participation in order to make them happen including the annual spring showcase, an exhibit of work by interior design students. Please contact any one of the board members if you are interested in getting involved.
